Keema Ghotala

Keema Ghotala is a flavorful, hearty dish where spiced lamb mince meets scrambled eggs, creating a creamy, satisfying texture. The crumbled bread soaks up the masala, making every bite rich and savoury. It’s quick to make, versatile, and perfect with bread, parathas, or rice, a true comfort food with a twist.

INGREDIENTS

2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 pound lamb mince (200 grams)
2 green chilies, finely chopped
2 tablespoons red chili powder
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon cumin (jeera) powder
2 large eggs
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Salt to taste

METHOD OF PREPERATION

Heat oil in a pan and sauté the garlic until fragrant, then add the onions and cook until golden brown. Stir in the tomatoes and cook until soft and pulpy, followed by the green chilies, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well and add the lamb mince, cooking until it browns and blends with the masala. Next, add the crumbled bread and combine thoroughly. Crack in the eggs, scramble them into the mixture, and cook until everything comes together into a rich, flavorful keema ghotala. Finally, garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving hot.
